For those who don't 'do' Facebook - and my aplogies for forgetting that there are people who don't (I also don't 'do' Facebook except once a day I check the Charlton Community Hub Facebook Group).

The Gem Festival complaints system is as follows:

  • On-line - https://complainthub.app/embed?mode=popup
  • by phone - 07902 905302

I've tested both systems. The phone line worked well (my call was answered after 2 rings), the on-line system didn't work for me, twice - I reported that on the phone line and just now I tried again and this time my test message has gone through, seemingly ok.

If you need to go further and lodge a genuine and serious complaint, you should complain to Wiltshire Couyncil - send an email to [email protected] (also known as Environmenmtal Health). Please copy your email to Charlton Parish Council - [email protected] . If you're finding the noise a real problem, it's worth keeping a 'noise diary' - a written record of days/times and the effect it is having on you.
